Office Hours

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
9:00 am – 3:00 pm

In order to maintain the health and safety of members and ACERA staff during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, ACERA’s office is open limited hours. Walk-ins are welcomed during these times, although we recommend scheduling an appointment below so we can connect you with the right resources.

Masks Required: Please note that Alameda County continues to require employees and visitors to wear face coverings that cover the nose and mouth in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Connect With Us Virtually

We also encourage members to continue to connect with us virtually. ACERA staff are available via mail, email, or phone. We’re available on Zoom video for Ready-To-Retire Counseling appointments.

If you are able to complete your business with ACERA via mail, email, phone, or video, we ask that you continue to do so.

Submit Documents in Our Drop Box Without an Appointment

You can submit forms and documents in-person utilizing the drop box in our office elevator lobby on the 10th floor of 475 14th Street in Oakland without needing to speak with ACERA staff.

Alternatively, you can submit forms or documents securely by logging in to your ACERA account and selecting Upload Documents.

In-Person Office Appointments

A very limited number of in-person appointments are available in our office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:30 am – 3:00 pm.

If you’re looking for retirement counseling because you’re ready to retire, schedule a Ready-To-Retire Counseling appointment. Note that these must be scheduled in advance, and ACERA staff will be unable to provide retirement counseling to members who drop in.
