Office Hours and Visitors
Visiting ACERA Is By Appointment Only
In order to maintain the health and safety of members and ACERA staff during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, ACERA’s office is open to visitors by appointment only.
If you are able to complete your business with ACERA via mail, email, phone, or video, we ask that you continue to do so. If you are unable, a very limited number of in-person appointments are available in our office.
Walk-ins will be turned away.
Masks Required: Please note that Alameda County continues to require employees and visitors to wear face coverings that cover the nose and mouth in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

10:30am – 3:00pm
If you are unable to make an appointment, limited ACERA staff will be available for during those same hours to speak with members who drop in. Note that all Ready-to-Retire Counseling Appointments must be scheduled in advance, and ACERA staff will be unable to provide retirement counseling to members who drop in.
Submit Documents in Person Without an Appointment
You can submit forms and documents in-person utilizing the drop box in our office elevator lobby on the 10th floor of 475 14th Street in Oakland without needing to speak with ACERA staff.
Alternatively, you can submit forms or documents securely by logging in to your ACERA account and selecting Upload Documents.
