Program Is a 1-Year Trial
ACERA’s Board of Retirement added Kaiser’s Silver&Fit program to the Kaiser Permanente Senior Advantage Plan (KPSA) for the 2022 plan year on a trial basis for one year, February 1, 2022 – January 31, 2023. Kaiser has offered the program at no cost to ACERA during this year-long trial period. In mid-2022, ACERA’s Board of Retirement will assess utilization of the program and decide whether to continue it into 2023 for an estimated cost of $2.65 per member / per month. (For ACERA’s 4,200+ KPSA enrollees, that’s about $11,130 per month or $133,560 per year.)
