Notice of Quiet Period: Global Equity Manager Search (RFI)

The Alameda County Employees’ Retirement Association (ACERA) has officially commenced a quiet period effective June 18, 2026, in connection with its search for an active Global Equity investment manager. For background on the framework and scope of this search, please refer to the memo in the June 3, 2026, Investment Committee Meeting packet, “Discussion of and Possible Motion to Recommend to the Board the Minimum Qualifications and Scoring Matrix for ACERA’s Global Equity Manager Search – Public Equities.”

The quiet period will remain in effect until the search is concluded. During this time, ACERA Board Trustees and investment staff may not knowingly communicate with candidate firms regarding this mandate outside of official search-related interviews and scheduled due diligence.

Estimated Search Timeline

ACERA intends to proceed according to the following estimated schedule:

  • June 18, 2026: Quiet Period Begins
  • June 22, 2026: Request for Information (RFI) Issuance
  • July 1, 2026: Deadline for Candidate Inquiries
  • July 13, 2026: ACERA Response to Inquiries
  • July 31, 2026: RFI Submissions Due
  • Fourth Quarter 2026: Finalist Presentations to the Investment Committee
