Satjit Dale was appointed as ACERA’s Assistant Chief Executive Officer, Operations on July 5, 2026.  He is responsible for managing ACERA’s financial, building, and administrative operations.

Prior to joining ACERA, Mr. Dale spent over 15 years working for the Alameda County Auditor-Controller’s Office. His experience spanned across multiple departments including Disbursements, Management Services, and Central Collections. Mr. Dale most recently served as an Assistant Controller where he managed the County’s Central Payroll Unit and was responsible for ensuring nearly 10,000 County employees received proper compensation. He also led the Internal Audit team in conducting performance audits across the County to review programs and present findings with recommendations for improvements to County processes.

Mr. Dale holds a Master of Public Administration from California State University, East Bay, and a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis.
