The deadline for ACERA retirees enrolled in Via Benefits individual medical plans to submit reimbursement claims for 2020 medical expenses has been extended to May 31, 2021.
For members who are eligible for the Monthly Medical Allowance subsidy to offset the cost of being enrolled in an ACERA-sponsored medical plan, ACERA deposits your Monthly Medical Allowance in your Health Reimbursement Account at Via Benefits. When you incur medical expenses including premiums, deductibles, and co-pays, you can submit claims for reimbursement to Via Benefits. Via Benefits will reimburse you for these expenses from your Health Reimbursement Account.
Submit your reimbursement claims for medical expenses you incurred during the 2020 calendar year by May 31, 2021.
Log in to your Via Benefits account to check the balance of your Health Reimbursement Account and to submit claims for reimbursement:
