This worksheet will guide you in estimating the monthly service retirement benefit which you may be eligible to receive. Just fill out the worksheet below and submit it. Your benefit will be instantly estimated. For a more accurate and official estimate, submit the Retirement Benefit Estimate Request form (click HERE to download) available on this site or from ACERA.

4. Enter your years of ACERA service credit. For estimating, use the number of calendar years you worked in eligible positions.

5. Enter your bi-weekly pay rate (before taxes, etc.) during the consecutive period, using one line for each different pay rate that you earned. If you were paid at different rates for different parts of the 26 (Tier I) or 78 (Tier II) highest consecutive pay periods, use as many lines as necessary. *

6. Did you have Social Security withheld?

YES: If you are an ACERA member and have had Social Security deducted from your pay, you are an integrated member and must adjust your retirement allowance to include Social Security. On your results page, there will be a formula that shows how withholding has effected your benefit.

NO: If you do not have Social Security deductions, you are not integrated in Social Security and don't need to adjust your retirement allowance.
