J.P. Singh, Chief Financial Officer

J.P. Singh joined ACERA in June 2006 as its Chief Financial Officer.  He has a Masters in Business Administration from Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Singh began his professional career in public accounting as a senior auditor with David J. Mintz & Co., a certified public accounting firm in Boston, Massachusetts.  He supervised banking, mortgage, insurance, and manufacturing company audits.  Mr. Singh has also served in the private sector as a senior finance executive for Digital Equipment Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, and Alcan Aluminum Corp, a large aluminum manufacturing company.

From 1992 to 2005, J.P. served as the Director of Finance for the New Hampshire Retirement System (NHRS), a $4.8 billion state public retirement plan. During his NHRS tenure, that pension plan was awarded the Certificate for Excellence in Financial Reporting for thirteen consecutive years by the Government Finance Officer’s Association.

As a senior level executive, Mr. Singh prides himself on understanding business goals and objectives and partnering with other senior managers to achieve these goals.
